Angelia R. Spurgin, Ph.D.

Dr. Angelia R. Spurgin is a licensed psychologist who completed her doctoral training at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. Dr. Spurgin trained as a school psychologist and has extensive experience working within school systems. She believes strong, collaborative relationships are the foundation for meaningful change. Dr. Spurgin partners closely with children and their families to support growth, resilience, and success across home, school, and community settings. Her clinical approach emphasizes caregiver consultation and the development of individualized treatment plans that address how challenges impact daily functioning. Dr. Spurgin’s clinical interests include supporting parents in navigating school-based services, tailoring home and school interventions for children with behavioral needs, as well as using a variety of therapeutic techniques to help children and caregivers build effective coping skills.
